Beginning June 16th, NCDOT and Smith-Rowe, LLC will begin a construction project for the Pinebrook School Road bridge replacement over I-40 in Davie County.
On the afternoon of June 16th, Pinebrook School Road bridge over I-40 will close. The signed detour around the work area will be Pinebrook Drive, Farmington Road, and US-158. With the bridge closed, access to Pinebrook Elementary School will be from Pinebrook Drive only. The bridge is scheduled to be reconstructed and the roadway reopened to traffic by August 1, 2026.
