We are proud to celebrate Legislators in Our Schools Week by welcoming staff members from Congressman Addison McDowell and Senator Ted Budd’s offices to visit our district.
Julianna Brewster and Justin Somers spent time on Tuesday, April 14th, seeing firsthand the wonderful opportunities our PreK program offers, including a strong instructional curriculum designed to empower students for success in elementary school.
They also heard about the real challenges Davie County families with preschoolers face, particularly the ongoing shortage of accessible, affordable and safe childcare options in our community.
We’re grateful for their visit and their willingness to listen as we work together to find solutions to support our youngest learners and their families.
