The Davie County Board of Education will host a special called meeting on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 8:15 AM to conduct the swearing-in ceremony for Dr. Heath Belcher, new superintendent for Davie County Schools. Free Summer Meals for Kids in Davie County Our DCS School Nutrition Team will be working hard this summber to offer a Free Summer Meals Program, ensuring children 18 and under across the county have access to nutritious meals while school is out. There’s no cost, no sign-up , just show up! Meals will be available Monday through Thursday at Mocksville Elementary School and Cooleemee Elementary School. In addition to the school sites, mobile meal stops will also be available throughout the week at designated locations in Mocksville and Cooleemee. https://www.godavie.org/families/summer-meals
